Specimen Type/Requirements

Fresh Stool- Hemoccult Sensa Cards:  Sensa Cards must be labeled with the patient name, date of birth and collection date.

Do not collect if blood is visible in collection (e.g. menstration, active hemorrhoids, urinay tract infection. Avoid red meat, vitamin c and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs prior to collection.

For specimen 2 order LABS0674 and for specimen 3 order LABS0675.  Samples shoud be taken from bowel movements on 3 different days.
