Test is affected by gross hemolysis, lipemia and icterus.

Additional Information
If the infant’s red blood cells possess a weak D antigen, the test may not detect a feto-maternal hemorrhage exceeding 30 mL of whole blood.
Test will automatically reflex to Fetaldex on all positive results. However after 24 hours, test will not reflex to Fetaldex due to strict 24 hour stability for Fetaldex.
