Test is affected by hemolysis and lipemia.

Additional Information

Samples are best collected 10 days after onset of symptoms.
Antibodies may not show up earlier than that and could result in a false negative.
Positives are repeated on the next scheduled testing day.
This test requires its own frozen aliquot.
Seasonal testing – scheduled times may vary.
