Light Green top (Lithium Heparin w/gel) tube - Plasma
Gold top (Serum w/gel) tube - Serum
Red top (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum
Draw 12 hours after oral administration and 6 hours after IV administration.
Serum/Plasma must be removed from cells or gel barrier within 2 hours.
Test is affected by gross hemolysis, gross lipemia and gross icterus.
