Light Green top (Lithium Heparin w/gel) tube - Plasma
Lavender top (EDTA) tube - Plasma
Red top (Serum w/out gel) tube - Serum
Gold top (Serum w/gel) tube -Serum
Specimen should be centrifuged and separated within 2 hours of collection. Draw 60 minutes after completion of infusion.
Test is affected by gross hemolysis and gross lipemia.
